This exquisite rug hails from the famous Ottoman rug making area of Qaisari in the Hereke region of Turkey. Its design is inspired by 17th-century Ottoman floral motifs. Woven in the 1950's this vintage rug has a distressed low pile with exposed warp fixings which is part of the patina and charm of a unique vintage piece.
